• Use caution when using thyroid medications (e.g. levothyroxine, liothyronine), as it may effect the efficacy of the medications and necessitate a dose change or have additive effects on mitochondrial programs
• Use caution when using diabetic drugs (insulin, sulfonylureas): if combined with potent weight loss agents, watch for hypoglycemia as insulin sensitivity improves

Contraindications

• Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Do not use if you have or suspect you may have a hormone-sensitive cancer (breast, prostate, thyroid) or active neoplasia
• Do not use if you have uncontrolled cardiovascular disease, arrhythmias, or uncontrolled hyperthyroidism
• Do not use if you have severe liver or kidney impairment
